I’m going to tell you right now that I’ve got almost nothing in common with these guys. However, like them, I have a weird love of the G63 and the need to get it dirty.
I've never thought that the 577 horsepower pumped out by the E63 AMG S-Model is not enough. Apparently, the guys over at Vath tuning have, and figure the car needs a 28-percent boost.
It's not heat soak. It's actually the ECU cutting power after you've wrung the new Z06's neck for an extended period. Still, this race has people talking.
At one point, the gentlemen’s agreement among the big three German automakers stated that every car, no matter how much horsepower it generated, had to have a maximum speed of 155 mph. However, there are exceptions to every rule. Case in point: the BMW 850CSi you'll see after the jump. It's clearly been...adjusted. The V12-powered GT goes nearly 190 mph.
